On Wednesday the 13th of August 2014 Mike Newman once again broke the world blind land speed record driving a Nissan GT-R at an incredible 200.51mph. Mike Newman has finally achieved his long standing ambition to become the first blind person in history to drive solo at over 200mph and as such has now amassed his 6th Guinness land speed record, driving a Litchfield LM1 RS reaching an average speed of 200.51mph along the airstrip of Elvington Airfield located in york on the 13th August 2013.Click here to read the full press release.
