Mike Newman is preparing to take back the World Blind Landspeed Record on the 1st of August 2010 at Pendine Sands in Carmarthenshire. During this incredible event mike will drive the Keating KTR and attempt to break the 200mph barrier and reclaim his title as the fastest blind man on the planet.

No stranger to breaking land speed records Mike previously smashed the World Land Speed record for a blind person in 2003 speeding into the record books in a Jaguar XJ-R at an astonishing 144.7mph.
