DAREDEVIL Mike Newman has become the fastest blind man on both land and water.
The dad of two broke the blind water speed record with a speed of 93.6mph.
He has topped the previous record of 91mph, driving a powerboat at Torquay Bay. Click here to read the full press release.

Mike has achieved his goal of reclaiming the world land speed record by driving a Porsche GT2 at 186mph at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground, Leicestershire. The whole team would like to thank Mark Cowne from Kruger Cowne and all of our supporters and sponsors without whom we couldn’t have brought this record back to the UK.
In later this year Mike will be making an attempt to break the world blind land speed record for a third time in the same decade.Achieved 24th September 2013
